New training dates for the VDI 2047-2 guideline

KORN GmbH offers its customers and all interested parties VDI 2047-2 guideline (VDI cooling tower rule) training courses – including examination and certificate. The guideline requires proof of successful participation in the training course.
Operators of evaporative cooling systems are obliged to ensure that these systems are operated in a hygienic manner. To reliably prevent legionella, pseudomonads and moulds, the requirements of the German Ordinance on Biological Substances (BioStoffV) and, when using biocides, the requirements of the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (GefStoffV) must be meticulously observed.

The one-day training course is primarily aimed at system operators and manufacturers, operating personnel, facility managers and tradesmen for system maintenance and repair.
Training contents:
- Operating principles of evaporative cooling systems
- Microbiological processes in cooling water
- Fundamentals of water chemistry and corrosion processes
- Use of biocides in accordance with the Biocide Ordinance
- Hazard analysis for safe operation
- Operator obligations for the prevention of legionella
